Your Echo Around Me
Your Echo Around Me celebrates the enduring influence of music educators, whose work resonates in their students’ adult lives, as evoked by a memorable lilting melody that passes between the voice parts and echo-like interplay with the piano. It was commissioned by the Junior Amabile Singers of London, Canada, the ensemble I grew up singing with, to celebrate the work of conductor Jackie Norman who was with the choir since I was 11 years old.
